Muhammad Ali vs Henry Cooper #2
21st May 1966
On This Day Highbury, London, Henry Cooper got his long awaited chance at a rematch with Muhammad Ali, this time for the heavyweight championship of the world. The first fight in 1963 had 'The Greatest' in all sorts of trouble when he was floored by a left hook at the end of round four, where he was saved by the bell, before going on to win in Ali’s predicted 5th round due to Cooper's severely cut eye.
This fight had none of the drama of the first fight and was fairly one sided.
